Can I use my SmartDNS with Connectify Hotspot?

Connectify Hotspot supports the use of any custom DNS or SmartDNS. Connectify Hotspot will use the domain name server (DNS) that the computer running the application is configured to use. So, if you change the DNS on your computer, you will be able to use Connectify Hotspot with that DNS. Learn here how to change the DNS on a Windows PC.

After changing your DNS, ensure that you choose how you like to share your internet connection when using Connectify Hotspot. Make sure your preferred Windows internet connection source is selected from the ‘Internet to Share’ dropdown. Icons next to each adapter tell you what kind of Internet connection you’re selecting.
