What's the difference between Lifetime and specific version licenses?

When you purchase Connectify Hotspot PRO or MAX, you can choose between 2 license types:

• Lifetime license–entitles you to all future updates and features of Connectify Hotspot;
• Specific version license–allows you to use the Connectify Hotspot for the current version and get all the updates for it until the next major version of Connectify Hotspot is released.  Major versions are released at most once per year.  Once the next major version rolls around, you can continue to use your Connectify Hotspot, with no additional updates, or enjoy a discounted offer to upgrade to the next release when it becomes available, and enjoy updates and new features.

We recommend getting the Lifetime license so you'll always have access to the latest and greatest virtual router software for your Windows PC.
