How can I set a custom name for my Wi-Fi hotspot?

When you create a Wi-Fi hotspot with Connectify, you can customize the name and even use emojis and special characters (Unicode) to make it stand apart from others.

To do this, choose your favorite emoji(s) from the picker when setting up your hotspot or paste the special Unicode characters into the Wi-Fi hotspot name field. Clients will be able to see your fancy hotspot name in their network lists.

Please note that if you want to get rid of the “Connectify-” prefix at the beginning of your hotspot name, as well as unlock more advanced features, you should consider upgrading to Hotspot PRO or MAX today!
