Firewall Options in Connectify

Connectify Hotspot offers a few firewall options for your Hotspot network. You'll find general options for client devices on the Hotspot via the Settings tab.

Internet Access: This option controls whether client devices have Internet access.

• Local Network Access: This option controls whether client devices can connect to your computer and to each other. 

You can manually specify firewall options for specific devices on the Clients tab by right-clicking on it. 

If a specific device's Internet Access is disabled you will see a globe icon with a red 'X' over it. If that device's Local Access is disabled you will see a small computer icon with a red 'X' over it as well. 

If you ever have trouble accessing the network or local resources you should first check your firewall controls on the Settings tab of Hotspot's UI as well as the Clients tab to make sure your device's access isn't disabled.
