Why is Connectify 'Paused'?

We know how frustrating it can be when your devices connect to hotspots without Internet access so, we've implemented a feature that pauses Connectify Hotspot if the connection you are sharing has no Internet access.
  • If running Wi-Fi Repeater, Connectify pauses if the chosen 'Wi-Fi Network to Repeat' is not currently connected.
  • If running Wi-Fi Hotspot or Wired Router, and using Bridged network access, Connectify will pause if the chosen 'Internet to Share' adapter is not connected to the internet.
  • If running Wi-Fi Hotspot or Wired Router, and using Routed 'Network Access', Connectify will pause if the chosen 'Internet to Share'  adapter is not connected to the internet and you have no clients connected.

You can disable this function by going to Settings > NAT Options and unchecking Pause On No Internet.

This will allow you to create a Hotspot without Internet access to use as a Local Area Network.
