Why doesn't my PlayStation 3 work with Hotspot?

Unfortunately, the PS3 has trouble communicating with some wireless devices and there is nothing we can do in our software to change this. Some devices work fine with the PS3, but others don't work. Most commonly, Intel Wi-Fi adapters do not allow PS3s to authenticate to the hotspot. The first thing you can try is updating your Wireless drivers. If that doesn't work, then you can try getting an external USB device for your laptop. These devices are small and inexpensive and will give you a second wireless adapter. We have seen cases where the internal wireless adapter won't work on a machine, but a different model USB wireless adapter does work.
